Prior to joining IPS he was the Senior Vice President of Global Mining for the large International Engineering and Construction Company, SNC Lavalin. He has been involved in the development of projects globally within the Minerals & Metals, Power Generation, Infrastructure & Environmental as well as Hydrocarbon sectors. He has twenty-five years of experience in Business Development and building of businesses, in respect of Engineering, Consulting and Project Services from concept through to operations
He began his professional career with JCI (Mining Company). He holds a BSc Degree in Engineering, a BComm in Marketing and an MBA from The Witwatersrand University as well as a PhD and LLB from Cambridge University
